ATLANTA, GA – Join Hugi Hernandez, Founder of Egreenews, to learn about a new State Resolution designed to empower women and vulnerable communities in Georgia.
This brand-new resolution can help people in your community gain risk literacy and reduce heat-related mortality among pregnant women and girls in vulnerable communities across the state. This official resolution and community conversation will include your leaders and elected officials from Stone Mountain and the City of Lilburn.
Media outlets are invited to cover the ATL Earth Day & Women’s Celebration at the Capitol on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The event will bring together environmental advocates, elected officials, artists, and community leaders to honor sustainability efforts, women’s leadership, and the legacy of arts in Georgia.
Hosted at the Georgia State Capitol, the day features a blend of historical exploration, networking with legislators, and a keynote program recognizing contributions to the environment and the community.
