Li Fei, a plush toy manufacturer and Yiwugo supplier for three years, has seen a steady stream of orders from the U.S. and UAE. With Valentine’s Day following closely after the 2025 Lunar New Year, Li’s Mixiaomei Plush Toy Factory is racing to produce love-themed teddy bears and cat plush toys for markets in the U.S., Russia, and beyond. Li notes that the company rolls out numerous new designs annually to meet customized demands of various clients, exporting up to 4 million plush toys to the U.S. market each year.

Ms. Zhang explains that the internet-driven information boom has raised the bar for both domestic and international markets. Gone are the days of long product life cycles; now, companies must release at least 1-2 fully original products every month. Through platforms like Yiwugo, Jinshang collaborates with overseas clients to develop products tailored to local trends and color preferences, launching over 1,000 new items annually, including water bottles, children’s chairs, and lunch boxes. The company also works closely with clients to create products that resonate with local consumer habits and cultural nuances.

During the 2022 World Cup, an African client enhanced Jinshang’s designs by incorporating football and national elements into a line of plastic straw cups. To protect the client’s interests, Zhang even helped secure a patent. The product became an instant hit, with single orders peaking at nearly 200,000 units—a win-win for both parties.

The post-holiday surge isn’t limited to toys and daily necessities; the electronics sector is also thriving.

Wang Jinxiu, founder of Chengjin Electrical Appliance Firm, has nearly two decades of experience in the fan and electronic watch industry. Since introducing handheld fans in 2017, Wang has been reshaping client expectations, particularly in South America, Africa, and the Middle East, by emphasizing multifunctional designs and pairing fans with watch sets. In 2024 alone, Chengjin launched over 800 new products.
