The University of Georgia Performing Arts Center announces the grand opening of the 2025-26 UGA Presents season, featuring an extraordinary evening with international star  Lea Salonga in “Stage, Screen & Everything In Between” on Sept. 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Hodgson Concert Hall.

Audiences are invited to experience the talents of Salonga, the Tony Award-winning performer renowned for her commanding stage presence in Miss SaigonLes Misérables and other Broadway classics. She’s also the singing voice behind Disney favorites such as Mulan and Princess Jasmine in Aladdin and was recently named a Disney Legend.

In this special concert, she and her band present a curated program of Broadway blockbusters, cherished classics, and personal favorites from her celebrated career.

The excitement begins one day earlier, Sept. 10, with two exclusive events in conjunction with the season-opening performance:

  • A Conversation with Lea Salonga: Join the audience for an illuminating dialogue as Salonga sits down with Jeffrey Martin, director of the UGA Performing Arts Center, to delve into her remarkable four-decade career. The conversation will provide a rare, intimate glimpse into the life and creative process of a performing arts icon. This free event takes place at 5 p.m. in Ramsey Concert Hall. No tickets are required.
  • First-Ever Poster Sale: Celebrate the PAC’s 30th anniversary with a poster sale — featuring both signed and unsigned posters from past guest artists. Happening from 6-7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center lobby, a portion of proceeds will benefit the new Arts Impact Endowment, created to sustain arts education and outreach for years to come.
