InventHelp Inventor Develops New Asphalt Poker for Paving Jobs (BKC-691)

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — “As a paving foreman, I wanted to simplify the process of measuring asphalt thickness while sparing workers unnecessary aggravation,” said an inventor, from Nashua, N.H., “so I invented the NEW ASPHALT POKER. My design would also ensure proper asphalt thickness for top-quality paving.”

The patent-pending invention provides an improved way to measure asphalt thickness before it is rolled when paving. In doing so, it eliminates the need to use a wrench or some other tool to adjust the asphalt poker rod. As a result, it allows rod length adjustments to be completed in mere seconds. Thus, it saves time and effort. The invention features a simple and user-friendly design that is easy to use so it is ideal for asphalt paving companies. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.

The original design was submitted to the Boston sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
