Breeze Premia Introduces GE Aerospace’s Innovative Solutions to Enhance Efficiency and Reduce Carbon Emissions

SEOUL, South Korea, Sept. 3, 2024 – Hybrid airline company, Breeze Premia, led by CEO Yoo Myung-seop, recently announced the implementation of GE Aerospace’s integrated software solutions to improve operational efficiency and safety while reducing carbon emissions. The three main tools introduced by Breeze Premia are Gasoline Insight, Safety Insight, and the FlightPulse® app.

Gasoline Insight utilizes GE Aerospace’s Event Measurement System (EMS) to identify opportunities to enhance fuel efficiency throughout all phases of aircraft operations. This program can improve fuel efficiency by 1.4% per week, resulting in a reduction of carbon emissions by 5,916 tons per year during Breeze Premia’s flight operations.

Safety Insight is a service-based software solution that analyzes data collected from aircraft to identify potential hazards and enhance overall safety in operations.

FlightPulse® is a customizable Digital Aviation Bag (EFB) software application that provides pilots with insights on fuel efficiency and aviation safety analyzed through Gasoline Insight and Safety Insight. Pilots can access valuable information from the app to understand fuel impacts, make operational adjustments, and mitigate potential risks to improve aviation safety and efficiency.

Haejihn Lim, head of Breeze Premia’s Aviation Operations Engineering team, expressed, “Air Premia is the first airline in South Korea to introduce GE Aerospace’s integrated software solution with FlightPulse®, Safety Insight, and Fuel Insight.” He added, “Introducing this integrated solution will provide key insights to help reduce emissions and drive the airline’s overall sustainability goals.”
