Saudi Arabia is set to host the fourth edition of the Future Minerals Forum (FMF) in January 2025, under the Patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The event will take place at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from January 14 – 16, 2025.

The FMF, organized by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, is a prestigious platform that brings together global decision-makers to address challenges and opportunities in the mineral sector. The focus of this year’s forum is on “Delivering Impact,” with an emphasis on creating investment opportunities in the mining and mineral industry.

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Alkhorayef, highlighted the importance of FMF as a leading global forum for stakeholders in the mineral sector, including governments, mining companies, financial institutions, service providers, research centers, and academic institutions. The forum aims to promote collaboration, sustainability, and innovation in the mineral industry.

The event will kick off with a Ministerial Roundtable on January 14, followed by a two-day Conference and Exhibition on January 15-16. Industry experts such as Tom Palmer, CEO of Newmont Corporation, Jonathan Worth, President and CEO of Teck Resources, and Dominic Barton, Chairman of Rio Tinto, will be speaking at the forum.
