Denisa Saková Leads Delegation from Slovakia to Visit Gotion Prime-tech in Hefei, China
On August 20 and 21, Denisa Saková, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic, led a delegation to Hefei, China. The delegation included representatives from the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance, the Slovak Republic Embassy in Beijing, and the Consulate General of the Slovak Republic in Shanghai. The highlight of their visit was a special trip to Gotion Prime-tech on August 21.
During their visit to Gotion Prime-tech, Denisa Saková and her delegation were given a tour of the exhibition hall, the battery validation center, and the VW Unified Cellular factory. They gained valuable insights into Gotion’s research and development capabilities and production capacity in the field of batteries. The delegation praised Gotion’s innovative strength, excellent production standards, and global competitiveness. They also discussed in detail the company’s future project developments and strategic initiatives in Slovakia.
At the meeting, Denisa Saková expressed her full support for Gotion as the first Chinese battery manufacturer to undertake strategic activities in Slovakia. She emphasized that the Slovak government would fully support Gotion’s plans for a mega battery factory in the country, which is expected to serve as a successful example of collaboration between China and Slovakia.

Gotion has chosen Slovakia as a strategic starting point for its integration into Europe’s energy transformation.
