About the Baton no Yokoku Conference 2025
The Baton no Yokoku Conference 2025 offers a learning opportunity for members of local governments, private companies, students, and experts to gather, collect information, share activities, and exchange opinions. Building on last year’s theme—Inspect the Community Challenges: identify local challenges and form ideas for solutions—this year’s conference continues to focus on identifying challenges and exploring creative approaches to solve them. Through talk sessions and exhibitions, the conference will introduce innovative initiatives from local governments, companies, and organizations across Japan. A new workshop allows participants to engage in a Pass the Baton-style problem identification experience through simulation. Visit exhibition booths, attend talk sessions, reflect on challenges in workshops, and connect with others during the networking session. Enjoy a day filled with ideas for identifying and addressing local challenges.
