State-of-the-art facility expands company’s global research and development capabilities
THE WOODLANDS, Texas, October 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — SI Groupa leading global developer and manufacturer of performance additives, processing solutions and chemical intermediates, has announced the official opening of its European Innovation Center (EIC) in Four Ashes, UK. This milestone marks a significant expansion of SI Group’s global innovation network, strengthening R&D and application development to better serve customers around the world.
This ultra-modern infrastructure offers powerful tools and resources to support various research projects. With a focus on application development for plastics and rubbers, as well as analytical characterization, the EIC will serve as a collaborative hub to address technical challenges and drive sustainable innovation in partnership with customers and industry leaders.

The inaugural event took place on 23 October 2025, with a tour of the facilities and an opening speech delivered by the Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire, Professor Elizabeth Barnes CBE, on behalf of His Majesty King Charles III.
